Two of the recent songs from Warner Music Philippines are “I Mean Love” by Jahlel Lorezo, who is professionally known as Ethan Loukas, and “Headlights” by SUD. Loukas is a singer-songwriter from Iloilo, Philippines while SUD is an indie rock/jazz fusion band with five members namely vocalist and guitarist Sud Ballecer, drummer Jimbo Cuenco, keyboardist Kohl Aguilar, saxist Carlos Dela Fuente and bassist Raisa Racelis.
“I Mean Love”
“I Mean Love” is a story about how two people met and how they fell in love but never really told each other about how they feel. The singer-songwriter behind the song started singing since he was 8 years old.
Having a mother as a vocal coach, Loukas was formally trained in the art. His mother would wake him up at 5 a.m. for vocalization when he was in grade school and in high school.

“Headlights”
The hitmaker behind “Sila,” SUD is now back with a new single titled “Headlights.” The band is still on a mission for your pleasure but way better and way more different.
“Headlights” is a song about finding one’s self and the struggles one faces in the process. It became a metaphor of the journey and the experiences of the songwriter as well as of the band.
It took a while writing the song starting off with just the chorus and the verses were made later on. The arrangement at first was too pop for the band so after alterations, they decided they wanted to make it sound more grand and epic thus giving birth to the final arrangement.
Roll Martinez of Hale produced the whole project. They added more guitar riffs and also highlighted the harmonies of SUD’s bassist.
