Ringstar Management Pte. Ltd. is the creator of Ringstar Asia, a sports media and entertainment company based in Singapore and originally named Ringstar Boxing. Its founder and CEO Scott Patrick Farrell, 47, has stepped down.

Hailing from England, Farrell founded Ringstar Boxing in 2016. Here is his full statement explaining his resignation:

Today, Friday the 12th day of April, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my official resignation as CEO & Founder of Ringstar Management Pte Ltd, including the sale of my remaining shares.  This was not an easy decision for me to make. Ringstar, trading as Ringstar Asia, was my sole creation and vision from conception. During my tenure as CEO, I have led the company to produce two World Champions, Singapore’s first world title contender, and numerous regional champions.

I started Ringstar to make an impact on the Asian boxing scene, to provide a platform on the world’s stage for the region’s best boxing talents, and I believe that mission has been accomplished. I leave the promotion with some of the top potential fighters in the world and a broadcast reach of over 200 million potential viewers from shows that we produced. It has been a great honour to work with some amazing people and I will miss you all.

The reason behind my decision to vacate the position is to commence work on a new global project that will take my career in the direction I want to proceed from here onwards.  Where possible and prudent, I will be happy to offer partnership and co-promotion opportunities to Ringstar Asia and it is my sincere hope that we can work together in the future even as separate entities.  I will be conducting my farewell fight with the promotion with our current IBO World Champion, Paulus ‘The Rock’ Ambunda in the USA on May the 11th where he will be defending his IBO world title. All other day-to-day running of Ringstar Management Pte Ltd will be handed back to the company as of Friday the 12th of April.

I would like to thank the current shareholders for their support to help build this company to global recognition. Without you, none of this would have been possible, and I wish you all the best for the future.  Thank you to all the media and the fans of the shows, and a special thank you to the fighters that I have had the honour to work with and nurture their growth in this sport. Everyone I have met through this Ringstar Asia journey, thank you again for your support

Kind regards.

Scott Patrick Farrell
