2019 Ilocos Norte congressmen, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Matthew Joseph Marcos Manotoc will assume office as the 25th governor of Ilocos Norte, Philippines on June 30, 2019. He was born in Lisbon, Portugal to Tomás “Tommy” La’O Manotoc Sr. and Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios “Imee” Romualdez Marcos Manotoc.

In 2016, Matthew became the chairman of the Ilocos Norte chapter of the National Movement of Young Legislators. In the same year, he became a member of the provincial board of province from its second district.

Matthew is a resident of Batac, Ilocos Norte. He turned 30 on December 9, 2018.

Ilocos Norte has a total of 559 barangays, 80 of which are in Laoag. Batac is around 20 kilometers way from Laoag, the capital of the province.

On April 17, 2016, Sheena Seinne Dalo represented Ilocos Norte at Binibining Pilipinas 2016 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.

Hailing from Laoag, Carlo Pasion represented the Philippines at Mister Model Worldwide 2018. On December 22, 2018, he competed against 19 other candidates at the City Park Resort in New Delhi, Delhi, India and won the title.
