2019 Rizal congressmen, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Angelito Cabaron Gatlabayan was born in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines. He served as the mayor of the city from 1998 to 2007 and the congressman of the city’s second district from 2007 to 2010.

Rizal was named after Jose Rizal. He was born in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines, which is around 65 kilometers away from Antipolo.

On May 13, 2019, voters in Rizal elected their new congressmen, governor, vice governor and board members as part of the 2019 Philippine national general election. Here are the official results from the Commission on Election (COMELEC):

Antipolo is the only city in Rizal. The province has 13 municipalities namely Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililla, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay and Teresa.

On June 11, 2016, Kisszel Malazarte represented Pililla at Miss Philippines Earth 2016 and competed against 45 other candidates at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.

On October 7, 2018, Kathryn Jade Cudiamat represented Rizal at Miss World Philippines 2018 and competed against 39 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She was unplaced.
