Sorgraw Petchyindee Academy, 26, of Thailand was one of the ONE Super Series winners at “ONE: Masters of Destiny” at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 12, 2019. He defeated George Mann, 21, of Scotland.
ONE Championship included four kickboxing contests, two Muay Thai matches and 10 mixed martial arts bouts on the “ONE: Masters of Destiny” card. In the second bout of the evening, Mann and Sorgraw competed in a Muay Thai match in the featherweight division with Elias Dolaptsis as the referee.
Sorgraw and Mann brought the Axiata Arena crowd to its feet in an action-packed affair. The two featherweight strikers took their time trading their best shots all across the ONE Championship ring.
After three three-minute rounds, the Muay Thai contest was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, Dolaptsis raised the hand of Sorgraw, who was declared the winner via split decision.
Winning at “ONE: Masters of Destiny” improved the professional Muay Thai record of Sorgraw to 37 wins and 18 losses. He was one of the two Petchyindee Academy athletes on the card.
On the other hand, Mann now holds a professional Muay Thai record of 31 wins and 7 losses. He is training out Riddlers Gym.
