Representing Iraq, Brave Combat Federation athlete Amir “The Prince” Albazi, 25, is on his road to redemption but it has just gotten longer. His upcoming fight against Blaine O’Driscoll, 27, of Ireland at “Brave 24: London” has been cancelled.

Albazi was an undefeated mixed martial artist when he made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” at the Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan on April 19, 2019. He lost via unanimous decision to fellow promotional debutante Jose “Shorty” Torres, 26, of the United States.

Brave CF scheduled Albazi’s second Brave CF bout at “Brave 24: London” at the Copper Box Arena, inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in London, England on July 25, 2019. However, the bout was cancelled because the Iraqi MMA fighter sustained an undisclosed injury.

Currently, Albazi holds a professional MMA record of 11 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, O’Driscoll now has 7 wins and 2 losses.

Now based in London, Albazi was hoping to get back on track by fighting O’Driscoll at “Brave 24: London.” The fight between the two had been growing in rivalry as the duo exchanged trash talk in social media.

Since Albazi is out of the “Brave 24: London” fight card, O’Driscoll will also withdraw from the card and his Brave CF debut will be postponed. The Irishman is training out of Straight Blast Gym Ireland in Dublin, Ireland.

“Brave 24: London” moves on with seven bouts. In the co-main event, O’Driscoll’s SBG Ireland teammate Cian “The Warrior” Cowley, 25, will fight Brave CF debutante Maciej “MagicMan” Gierzewski, 32, of Poland and Northern Ireland in the lightweight division.

An invite-only event, “Brave 24: London” will be graced by VIP guests from England including Chris Eubank Sr., 52, Chris “Next Gen” Eubank Jr., 29, Jimi “Poster Boy” Manuwa, 39, Dan Hardy, 37, Paul “Semtex” Daley, 36, Brad “One Punch” Pickett, 40, and Aaron “The Joker” Chalmers, 32. Also attending are Artem “The Russian Hammer” Lobov, 32, of Russia and Ireland and Brazil’s Henrique Fogaça, 45, and Whindersson Nunes, 24.

Fogaça and Nunes are attending “Brave 24: London” to support former Brave CF Lightweight World Champion Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 30, of Brazil. In the main event, Martins will challenge reigning Brave CF Featherweight World Champion Bubba “Bad Man” Jenkins, 31, of the U.S.
