Bahrain’s Hussain Ayyad earns 4th Brave CF win at ‘Brave 24: London’

Hussain “Iron” Ayyad, 25, of Bahrain was one of the winners at “Brave 24: London.” It was his fourth victory in Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation.

Featuring seven professional MMA bouts, “Brave 24: London” took place at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England on July 25, 2019. In the first bout of the evening, Ayyad fought Mitchell Johnson of England in the flyweight division.

The referee put a stop to the flyweight contest after 2 minutes and 29 seconds in the first round. Ayyad submitted Johnson via triangle choke.

Winning at “Brave 24: London” improved the professional MMA record of Ayyad to 4 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Johnson now has 0 win and 2 losses.

“Brave 24: London” was an invite-only black tie event. One of the VIP guests was Bellator MMA fighter Paul “Semtex” Daley, 36, of England.

Including Bahrain and England, 11 countries were represented at “Brave 24: London.” The others were Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Lebanon, Northern Ireland, Poland, Russia, the United States and Wales.

Ayyad was one of the two fighters who represented Bahrain at “Brave 24: London.” It was his fifth outing in Brave CF.

Johnson made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 24: London.” He was one of the four fighters who represented England.

Born in Manama, Bahrain on November 10, 1993, Ayyad is an International Mixed Martial Arts Federation alum. He made his professional MMA debut in 2014.

On April 11, 2018, Ayyad made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” at the Balai Sarbini in Jakarta, Indonesia. He knocked out Jomar Pa-ac, 22, of the Philippines in the third round.

On November 16, 2018, Ayyad earned his second victory to Brave CF. He knocked out “The Rush” Al Hassan Mohamed Abo Ali, 28, of Egypt in the first round.

For the third time, Ayyad won in Brave CF on March 15, 2019. He submitted Jason “Python” Vergara, 23, of the Philippines via triangle choke in the first round.

The Bahraini MMA fighter is training out of Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) in Manama. Here is a clip featuring the athlete:
