Brave Combat Federation president Mohammed “The Hawk” Shahid, 30, is proud of what “Brave 24: London” has accomplished. He is happy to see that His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s vision for mixed martial arts was becoming a reality in front of the world’s eyes.
On July 25, 2019, Brave Combat Federation was able to put together under one roof the highest level of VIP personalities. Government officials, celebrities, singers, businessmen, and movie stars gathered at the Copper Box Arena in London, England to watch “Brave: 24.”
Marking Brave CF’s first event in England, “Brave 24: London” connected MMA to a new crowd who left the building familiarized with the sport and wanting more. Shahid described the night as “unbelievable.”
“We’ve had government officials from around the world, celebrities, singers, movie stars,” Shahid stated. “All of them under one roof. This is something London has never seen before.”
“His Highness has said and it is true,” Shahid continued. “We are going to change the landscape of MMA on a global level. This is something the sport and Europe have never seen before.”
“This is not only good for Brave Combat Federation (as) it will benefit the entire sport,” the Brave CF president added. “His Highness Shaikh Khalid has put this show on a platform to make sure that the sport is never looked at the same again. Everything will be different from now on.”
A former MMA fighter himself and a huge fan of the sport, Shahid praised the action inside the Brave Arena, which delivered four stoppages including three knockouts and one submission in seven fights.
“We are super happy with the event altogether,” Shahid shared. “We’ve had great fights too, right? (There were) several KO victories so it’s unbelievable to see all the VVIPs, all the crowd enjoying mixed martial arts action. (It is) a massive success.”
Bubba “Bad Man” Jenkins, 31, of the United States successfully defended his belt as the reigning Brave CF World Champion in the main event of “Brave 24: London.” In the co-main event of the evening, Maciej “MagicMan” Gierzewski, 32, of Poland and Northern Ireland knocked out Cian “The Warrior” Cowley, 25, of Ireland in the lightweight division.
