“Produce 101” Season 2 winner Kang Daniel, 22, and TWICE member Park Ji Hyo, 22, who is professionally known as Jihyo, are the most recent K-Pop idols romantically linked to each other. The two were reportedly seen together in Seoul, South Korea.

Jihyo reportedly drove in her own car to met Kang at his house. The two were seen dating in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on August 1, 2019, Dispatch reported.

Among the attractions in Hannam-dong is the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, which is run by the Samsung Foundation of Culture. The German School Seoul International is also located there.

Hannam-dong is right across the river from the Gangnam area of Seoul. Its residential areas namely UN Village, The Hill, and Richensia Apartments are home to many executives and celebrities including Kang.

Rumor has that Kang and Jihyo started dating early this year. The two have yet to confirm or deny the rumors.

Kang was born in Busan, South Korea on December 10, 1996. Dubbed the summer capital of Korea, it attracts touriststo its six beaches Songdo, Haeundae, Gwangalli, Dadaepo, Songjeong and Ilgwang.

Jihyo was born on February 1, 1997 in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The Wamgsil Stream and the Han River flow into the city.

When Jihyo was in third grade, she won the second place in a contest for a child role. She then became a JYP Entertainment trainee and eventually became the leader of TWICE, which was formed through the reality show “Sixteen” in 2016.

Including Jihyo, TWICE has nine members. The others are Im Na Yeon, 23, Yoo Jeong Yeon, 22, Yoo Jeong Yeon, 22, Minatozaki Sana, 22, Myoui Mina, 22, Kim Da Hyun, 21, Son Chae Young, 20, and Chou Tzuyu, 20, whose respective stage names are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.

On the other hand, Kang became a B2M Entertainment trainee before training under MMO Entertainment, which he represented in “Produce 101” Season in 2017. He and 10 other winners of the boy group reality survival show performed as a group called Wanna One from August 2017 to January 2019.
