Brave Combat Federation’s first event in Bogota, Colombia has a main event and is set to be a brawl. Striking artists Guram Kutateladze, 27, of Georgia and Felipe Silva, 35, of Brazil will meet in a lightweight clash bound to set South American mixed martial arts on fire.
Silva is known for his Muay Thai skills, as the former UFC fighter makes his promotional debut at “Brave 26.” The Brazilian is the current striking coach of the world-famous CM System gym.
This means Silva is the one responsible for training several Brazilian athletes. Among them are reigning Brave CF Lightweight world champion Luan “Miau” Santiago, 24, featherweight contender Gabriel “Fly” Miranda, 29, and welterweight powerhouse Geraldo “Luan Santana” Neto, 28.
Silva will face one of the most dangerous fighters of his division. His opponent was born in Georgia but is fighting out of European giant Allstars Training Center in Stockholm, Sweden.
Kutateladze is riding a seven-fight win streak that includes a dominant victory over Erick “Indio Brabo” da Silva, 30, of Brazil. They met at “Brave 16” in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates when the Georgian fighter scored a unanimous decision for his promotional debut.
In Allstars Training Center, Kutateladze trains alongside welterweight sensation Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev, 24, of Stockholm and bantamweight prospect Ilia Topuria, 22, of Georgia and Spain, who are both Brave CF fighters. They are also training with UFC fighters Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson, 32, of Stockholm and Ilir “The Sledgehammer” Latifi, 35, of Malmo, Sweden.
“Brave 26” will take place in Bogota, Colombia on September 7, 2019. The event will be promoted in partnership with South American standout promotion Latin Fighter Championship.
