Training out of T.F.C. Bratislava in Bratislava, Slovakia, Viktoria Lipianska, 22, was one of the winners at “ONE: Immortal Triumph.” It was her first victory in ONE Super Series, the striking only league of Singapore-based martial arts organization ONE Championship.
Featuring nine Muay Thai matches and three kickboxing contests, “ONE: Immortal Triumph” took place at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on September 6, 2019. In the second bout of the evening, Lipianska faced Amber “AK 47” Kitchen, 20, of the United Kingdom in a Muay Thai match in the women’s strawweight division.
Elias Dolaptsis served as the referee. After three three-minute rounds, he raised the hand of Lipianska, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
Winning at “ONE: Immortal Triumph” improved the professional Muay Thai record of Lipianska to 24 wins and 14 losses. On the other hand, Kitchen now as 18 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.
Both Kitchen and Lipianska made their ONE Super Series debuts at “ONE: Immortal Triumph.” While the Slovakian contender is representing T.F.C. Bratislava, the English fighter is training out of Touchgloves Gym in Penpol Terrace, Hayle, Cornwall, England, U.K.
Including the U.K. and Slovakia, 15 countries were represented at “ONE: Immortal Triumph.” The others were Algeria, Australia, Brazil, France, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam.
Slovakia was solely represented by Lipianska. Kitchen was one of the three representatives of the U.K.
Lipianska is a World Muaythai Federation Muay Thai World Champion. The Bratislava native was born on October 30 , 1997.
On the other hand, Kitchen was born on February 26, 1999 in Penzance, Cornwall. She told Awakening Fighters that she was 3 years old when she started training Muay Thai and her father Nathan Kitchen , who owned a gym, trained her and her mother Julie Kitchen.
Kitchen was 9 years old when she fought her first junior fight. She is interested in competing in mixed martial arts in the future.
“ONE: Immortal Triumph” was the first ever ONE Championship event to take place in Vietnam and it featured the organization’s first ever fight card that included striking bouts only. Here is a recap:
