Abdouraguimov got his shot at the title after two crushing victories against Sidney “The All-American Kid” Wheeler, 23, of the United States and Rodrigo Cavalheiro, 36, of Brazil in 2018. Early on, the Russian-French challenger dominated the fight, which was almost finished in the later frames.

Al-Selawe has campaigned extensively for the another crack at Abdouraguimov. The Jordanian MMA star felt he won the first fight between them and will now have the chance to prove himself as the best welterweight in the world at “Brave 27,” which will take place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
