Based in Hong Kong, China, mixed martial arts organization Legend Fighting Championship is set to do something unique with AEE Aviation Technology, a global leader in drone technology. The two companies will have a unique partnership to bring the magic of drone technology to Macau, China.
On September 14, 2019, Legend FC will hold “Legend FC 13” at the MGM Theater in Macau. Prior to this, AEE will launch its new Drone Formation Light Show, featuring a one-of-a-kind choreography intermixing globe light drones and large lantern drones with a MMA event in a spectacular dance of technology and physical precision.
The Drone Formation Light Show will pay homage to China’s Mid-Autumn Festival, a harvest festival celebrated with mooncakes, a rich pastry typically filled with sweet-bean or lotus-seed paste. AEE Aviation Technology LLC founder and CEO Andy Zheng stated, “By incorporating cutting edge design with creative artistic impression, we are applying technology as a living aerial art canvas that is both beautiful and inspiring.”
Legend FC was proud to showcase new and innovative technology. The Hong Kong-based MMA promotion’s reigning featherweight champion Ji Xian will also be part of the live experience, adding a new dimension to the drone show.
“This is ground breaking technology which allows us to bring a breathtaking interaction between modern technology and traditional martial arts,” Legend FC chairman Matthew Kwok stated. “This performance will be the first of its kind at a mixed martial arts competition.”
In the main event of “Legend FC 13,” Liu Lianjie will face China’s top submission specialist Yuan Chunbo. Fans can witness the very best in Chinese MMA and the traditional art of Sanda with a total of eight competitive matches taking place.
Before the evening, Legend FC announced its partnership with OPRO, a provider of innovative and technically advanced mouthguards. As the official mouthguard provider of Legend FC, OPRO will supply all the fighters of the MMA promotion with protective devices to be worn while training or competing inside the cage.
