Born on July 1, 1985, Edmonds attended Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh from 1999 to 2003. Aside from bodybuilding, he is also into weightlifting and he plays bowling, darts, golf and handball.

In 2015, Edmonds won first place in Class F and overall in the National Physique Committee National Championships. In 2017, he won the Pittsburgh Pro, which qualified him for the Mr. Olympia.
In 2017 Olympia Men’s Physique, Edmonds placed fourth. He was second in the same division in 2018.
