Boyz II Men is performing in Manila, Philippines soon. Returning from a tour in the United States and residency at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, the four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning group consisting of founding members, Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris will bring a lively show.
The upcoming concert titled “Boyz II Men Live in Manila 2019” is presented by Ovation Productions, which is on its 40th year promoting the biggest names in live entertainment, in cooperation with TAP Edge: The Home of Live Action Sports. Fans can expect Boyz II Men to sing fan-favorite songs like “I’ll Make Love to You,” “Motownphilly” and “End of the Road” in the Philippines.
“We’re so excited to be going back to Manila and bringing the Boyz II Men show to the fans who always greet us with so much warmth and we look forward to showing them some of the new skills that we’re bringing to the stage,” Boyz II Men said in a statement. The legendary R&B trio will be performing on December 12, 2019 at Resort World Manila’s Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Boyz II Men holds the distinction of being the most commercially successful R&B group of all time with three number 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, selling over 64 million albums worldwide. The group had engraved three of the longest running number 1 pop singles in history.
“End of the Road” spent 13 full weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, which historically concluded the decades-old record held by Elvis Presley. It is subsequently followed by “I’ll Make Love to You” with a 14-week reign.
Featuring Mariah Carey, “One Sweet Day” ruled the Billboard chart for a total of 16 weeks. It is an all-time record Boyz II Men had held until August 2019.
In September 2019, Boyz II Men commemorated the 25th year anniversary of the record that cemented their status as music royalty, the 12-time platinum, triple Grammy Award-winning album titled “II.” Although the group has consistently toured across the U.S. and around the globe, performing a mix of their latest tracks and treasured classics, venues continue to sell out to the rim.
