Zebaztian Kadestam: Kiamrian Abbasov will give me good test at ‘ONE: Dawn of Valor’ in Jakarta, Indonesia

ONE Championship held the official “ONE: Dawn of Valor” open workout at the Syena Martial Arts Center in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 22, 2019. It was attended by eight mixed martial artists including reigning ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, 28, of Sweden.

The “ONE: Dawn of Valor” fight night will take place at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta on October 25, 2019. In the main event of the evening, Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov, 26, of Kyrgyzstan will challenge the reigning ONE Welterweight World Champion.

“I’m grateful to be back here in Jakarta and to be defending my ONE Welterweight World Championship again,” Kadestam stated. “Kiamrian is an amazing fighter and a deserving challenger. I know that he will give me a good test come event night.”

“We promise that we will put on a great show for the fans in Jakarta and everyone watching all over the world.,” Kadestam continued. “I have worked extremely hard to be where I am today with this ONE Welterweight World Title wrapped around my waist and I fully intend on keeping it that way.”


“ONE: Dawn of Valor” marks Kadestam’s second title defense as the ONE Welterweight World Champion. In his first title defense, which was “ONE: Reign of Valor” at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on March 8, 2019, the Swedish mixed martial artist defeated Georgiy “Knight” Kichigin, 28, of Kazakhstan via technical knockout via retirement.

Kadestam has been competing professionally since 2011. He joined ONE Championship in 2017.

Like Kadestam, Abbasov has been competing professionally since 2011. A former Prime Selection GP Welterweight Champion, he joined ONE Championship in 2018.


Joining Kadestam and Abbasov in the “ONE: Dawn of Valor” open workout were Indonesia’s very own Eko Roni Saputra, 27, Priscilla “Thathi” Hertati Lumban Gaol, 31, Stefer “The Lion” Rahardian, 32, and Adrian “Papua Badboy” Mattheis, 26. Kaji “Alpha” Ebin, 26, of Manila, Philippines and Bozhena “Toto” Antoniyar, 24, of Yangon, Myanmar took part in the event, as well.
