INEX Active was launched at the Mindful Movement Asia Pilates Studio in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 23, 2019 through an invigorating Pilates session. The launch of the new line of workout gear was attended by several empowered women.

The Pilates session was headed by Mindful Movement Asia Pilates Studio general manager Ken Colubio and Pilates coach Regina Del Rosario with INEX Active founder Maxine Sebastian and managing partner Juancho Palacios. Sebastian is Senator Pia Cayetano’s daughter.

The senator attended the INEX Active launch and participated in the Pilates session. She was with beauty queen-turned image consultant Abbygale Arenas-de Leon, Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong and model and television host Kelly Misa, among others.

Aside from being a politician, a lawyer and an entrepreneur, Cayetano is also a triathlete and an advocate of sports and the rights of athletes. She a University of the Philippines alumna.

Ong earned her degree in Marketing Management from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. She led the Earth Day celebration in the Philippines with Senator Cynthia Villar in 2016 and was awarded as one of the Philippine Empowered Men and Women of the Year in 2017.

In 1997, Arenas-de Leon represented the Philippines in Miss Universe where she won Miss Photogenic and placed 11th. Five years before this, she represented the country in Ford Supermodel of the World.

Misa became a finalist for Teen Model Search of Teen Magazine. She went on to become one of the most recognizable faces in print ads, commercials and ramp modeling in the Philippines.

Cayetano, Arenas-de Leon, Ong and Misa had the privilege to try and enjoy the newest INEX activewear styles. Sebastian explained, “INEX is short for inexorable which means unstoppable and relentless as we want the name itself to be empowering.”

“We wanted the logo to mean something, so we chose the wolf and the moon,” the INEX Active founder continued. “The wolf symbolizes personal power and all that is INEXorable in every one of us; the moon is a symbol of female strength. They say when the moon is full, women are in their highest point energetically so we’re hoping that by wearing INEX, women will be able to bring that feeling with them.”

The seamless structure of INEX Active sportswear is mainly made up of nylon which is soft as silk, breathable, durable and odor-inhibiting as it wicks sweat from the skin to fabric’s surface where it can evaporate. The sportswear is available in the sweetest pastels to the most energizing neons.

INEX Active is passionate about finding fresh ways for women to express themselves through their activewear and ultimately sharing the joy of an active lifestyle. The people behind the sportswear are big believers in self-acceptance and self-expression so they aim to provide a variety of styles that complement every body type and to encourage women expressing themselves and embrace what makes them unique.

Another core values INEX ACTIVE want to share to its customers is “It’s Cool 2 Care.” The brand is committed to slowly but surely shifting to a more sustainable business model starting with the packaging options in which their customers can choose between their reusable pouches and their 100 percent compostable packaging.
