GOT7 member Jackson Wang, 25, released his debut solo album “MIRRORS” out everywhere via Western and 6th on October 25, 2019. To commemorate the release, he unveiled the music video for “TITANIC” featuring Indonesian rapper Rich Brian.

Directed by Brendan Vaughan, whose credits include Juicy J, Travis Scott, and Lil Yachty, amongst others, the music video showcases Wang’s masterful choreography alongside the critically acclaimed dance crew Kinjaz. Both Wang and Brian appear cool, calm and collected in the midst of chaos–a sinking car, a run down warehouse and flooded water everywhere.

“’MIRRORS’ encapsulates eight songs, eight mirrors and eight soulmates who fully understand your inner emotions,” Wang said. “Pain, hard work, self-confidence, positivity, passion. Each song shows your true thoughts in different stages of life, reflects your different mental journeys, and portrays the emotions you don’t know how to express.”

Currently, Wang holds the number 1 spot for “I Love You 3000 II,” a duet with Indonesian pop sensation Stephanie Poetri and the third spot for “BULLET TO THE HEART” on Billboard’s China Billboard Chart. Fans can listen to his heartfelt Chinese rendition of “I LOVE YOU 3000” on “MIRRORS.”

At the age of 13, Wang started pursuing his passion in music, which led him to sign with South Korea’s top multinational entertainment company and record label JYP. This astonishing feat has allowed him to perform and tour with GOT7.

While Wang had success as an Olympian fencer prior to his musical endeavors, he realized how deeply his passion and dedication was to his artistic craft, thus rejected many athletic offers to ivy league universities. He has quickly built a fan base in Asia and North America, selling out major arenas including The Forum in Los Angeles, California, United States and Barclays Center in New York, USA with GOT7.

When Wang started focusing on his solo career in 2017, his first pop hit single “Papillon” quickly topped Billboard China’s V Chart and landed a number 1 spot in QQ music. The music video for “Papillon” gained over 27 million views in just 48 hours, stirring fandom with over 59 million fans and making Weibo’s Hot Topic List.

Shortly after, Wang’s single “Okay” landed the number 1 spot on the iTunes Chart in four countries and made him the fastest Chinese artist to reach 10 million views on VEVO. As a believer in the power of music, he attests that music changes emotions and connects all cultures around the world.

Wang has worked with Grammy nominated artists such as Swae Lee and GoldLink and household names like Gucci Mane and Major Lazer, Jackson has amassed a cult following that exceeds 35 million fans across social platforms. The GOT7 member has pierced the cultural zeitgeist as the face of lifestyle brands such as Fendi, Armani, Adidas, Pepsi, Ray-Ban, BMW and VIVO.

An artist, a writer and a composer, Wang has immersed himself in the creative process. Other chart topping singles that display his writing, composition and arrangement ability include “Different Game” featuring Gucci Mane, which reached number 1 on the US iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Chart and “Fendiman” which transcended both musical and cultural heights as the first record from a Chinese artist to chart #1 on the US iTunes Single Chart and Pop Chart.
