Brave Combat Federation is happy to announce that Lenne Hardt is joining Carlos Kremer as the announcers at “Brave 29.” The combat sports event will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 15, 2019.
Born in Alaska, United States, Hardt is currently based in Shibuya, Tokyo. One of the most recognizable voices in mixed martial arts, she is a legendary voice actor and a ring announcer for Japanese MMA organizations including PRIDE, DREAM and Rizin Fighting Federation.
Hardt is known for the rolling of the letter R in her introductions with shouting and exuberant descriptions of the fighters. She became an announcer in 2000 during the PRIDE Grand Prix that took place in Japan.
Among the anime roles Hardt voiced are the MC in “Hayate the Combat Butler” episode 28 and the operator in “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn” episode 1. She is also the voice behind the respective announcers in the video games “Yakuza 0,” “Kinnikuman Muscle Generations,” “Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix” and “FantaVision.”
This will not be Hardt’s first time to be involved in a Brave CF. She was one of the co-announcers at “Brave 18” on November 16, 2018 at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, which was part of the Brave International Combat Week.
Alongside Kremer, Hardt will co-announce the 15 fights set for “Brave 29,” which include the three matches of the inaugural KHK World Championship. The one-night, four-men, open weight tournament will give the winner a US$100,000 check.
The inaugural KHK World Champion will be called the provisional holder of the KHK belt. Adorned with 6.2 kg of gold, the belt is the heaviest prize in sports today.
“Brave 29” will be held during the Brave International Combat Week 2019. It will also coincide the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation World Championships, in which hundreds of athletes from more than 50 countries will gather in Bahrain for what has been dubbed as the Olympics of MMA.
Brave CF will also crown its first ever champion in its flyweight division at “Brave 29.” Vying for the title are Jose “Shorty” Torres, 26, of Chicago, Illinois, United States and Marcel Adur, 27, of Balneario Camboriu, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
