Jon Chris “Happy Feet” Corton, 26, of the Philippines is one of the mixed martial artists competing at “BRAVE CF 31.” It will be the fourth Brave Combat Federation bout of the Igorot mixed martial artist, who is training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines.
BRAVE CF will hold “BRAVE CF 31” at the Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom in Durban, South Africa on December 7, 2019. In the co-main event of the evening, Corton will compete in the flyweight division against Dansheel “Buddha” Moodley, 27, of Durban, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
“BRAVE CF 31” marks Corton’s fourth bout in BRAVE CF. It is his opportunity to bounce back from two-bout losing streak in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion.
Competing professionally since 2012, Corton made his BRAVE CF debut at “Brave 16,” which took place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on September 21, 2018. He won via unanimous decision in a flyweight bout against Hussein “Iron” Ayyad, 24, of Bahrain.
On March 15, 2019, Corton faced Abdul “Abba” Hussein, 21, of Finland at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Finnish contender submitted his Igorot opponent via ninja choke.
On October 4, 2019, Corton returned to the Mubadala Arena for his third BRAVE CF bout. He lost via unanimous decision in a bantamweight bout against Zia “The Mashwani Warrior” Mashwani, 23, of Pakistan AT “BRAVE CF 27.”
Corton currently holds a professional MMA record of 6 wins and 5 losses. On the other hand, Moodley has 5 wins and 2 losses.
Born in Durban, South Africa on June 19, 1991, Moodley has been competing professionally since 2016. He competed in the European Fighting Championship Worldwide before joining BRAVE CF.
When Moodley made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 19” on December 8, 2018, he was submitted by Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 28, of Dublin, Ireland. They competed in the bantamweight division.
On November 4, 2019, Moodley competed in the flyweight division at “BRAVE CF 28” in Bucharest, Romania. He won via unanimous decision against Noureddin Hezrat, 27, of Paris, France.
