ONE Championship’s first Thai champ Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke to fight Pakistan’s Muhammad Imran at ‘ONE: Edge of Greatness’ in Singapore

Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, 41, of Thailand was one of the “ONE: Edge of Greatness” fighters who participated in the open workout at the Evolve Far East Square in Singapore on November 19, 2019. Training out of Evolve MMA in Singapore, he is the first ever ONE Championship champion who is of Thai descent.

Featuring four Muay Thai matches and six MMA bouts, ONE Championship will hold “ONE: Edge of Greatness” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on November 22, 2019. In the seventh bout of the evening, Dejdamrong will compete in an MMA bout in the strawweight division against Muhammad “The Spider” Imran, 27, of Pakistan.

During the “ONE: Edge of Greatness” workout at the Evolve Far East Square, the athletes came out to showcase their skills to fans and media in attendance. They also took time to address the media and talk about their upcoming bouts.

“I’ve been in martial arts my entire life and it’s something I truly enjoy,” Dejdamrong stated. “Getting to compete among the best in the world, that’s all an athlete can ever ask for.”

“I am extremely grateful and happy for the opportunities that I have been given in my career,” Dejdamrong continued. “I was the first ever Thai champion in ONE Championship.”

“I am thankful to be an inspiration to the youth and those who want to follow in my footsteps but my journey doesn’t end here,” the former ONE Strawweight World Champion added. “There is still a long way to go and I’m looking forward to winning this Friday night.”

Currently, Dejdamrong holds a professional MMA record of 10 wins and 5 losses. He is coming out of a loss to Miao Li Tao, 26, at “ONE: Enter the Dragon” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Imran now has 5 wins and 3 losses. He is coming out of two consecutive ONE Championship losses.
