Legend Fighting Championship has announced its last event in 2019. The China-based mixed martial arts promotion will hold “Legend FC 1” at the MGM Theater in Macau, China on December 28, 2019.

Two rising stars of Chinese MMA will clash in the main event as Yu Jianhong looks for redemption against a surging Chang Juncheng. The two men first met in the semi-final of the 80kg Sanda Tournament at “Legend FC 13,” where Yu edged out Chang in a tightly contested split decision.

Trained out of the famed Shaolin Temple before bouncing from gym to gym in search of a pro MMA career, Chang let his knockout power be on full display during his promotional debut at “Legend FC 12” in Guangzhou, China, where he finished his opponent just 30 seconds into the opening round.

Yu also made his Legend FC debut in Guangzhou. He is a life-long striker and kickboxer who fought his way to the Grand Finals of the 80kg Sanda Tournament in Macau only to be stopped by tournament winner Yang Zhanwang.

Evenly matched on the feet, the main event of “Legend FC 14” is a bout that will finally prove who the most complete fighter is when they meet under full Legend FC MMA rules. The co-main will see two fast-rising female stars clash as “Supermom” Miao Jie steps into the Legend FC caged called Bafang for the first time against striking superstar Liu Jie, 19.

Living and training in Shanghai, China, Miao brings an unparalleled ground game to Legend as the only Chinese female to earn black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She has a high submission finishing rate and will be coming to “Legend FC 14” confident of a win.

However, Liu should prove to be a difficult opponent, given her strong background in the striking arts. She trains out of Giant Bull in Beijing, China alongside her brother and Legend FC veteran Liu Lian Jie.

“It’s been a landmark year for Legend FC and finishing up the year in Macau is significant for us in many ways,” Legend FC chairman Matthew Kwok stated. “Chinese MMA continues to grow and we are proud to be in a unique position to showcase some of the fastest-rising stars of what is now a booming sport right across Mainland China.”

The final touches are now being made to the full Legend 14 card and will be announced shortly. Ticket information for “Legend FC 14” is available at www.tickets.mgm.mo.
