Team Lakay’s Eduard Folayang vs Pakistan’s Ahmed Mujtaba at ‘ONE: Fire and Fury’ in Manila, Philippines

Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, 35, of Baguio City, Philippines is set to fight in front of his Filipino fans again. Training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines, he will fight Ahmed “Wolverine” Mujtaba, 26, of Pakistan at “ONE: Fire and Fury,” the second ONE Championship event in 2020.

Featuring nine mixed martial arts matches and three Muay Thai contests, “ONE: Fire and Fury” will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 31, 2020. In the co-main event of the evening, Folayang will face Mujtaba in an MMA match in the lightweight division.

On April 20, 2013, Mujtaba made his professional mixed martial arts debut. He has been competing in ONE Championship since November 11, 2016.

Mujtaba is 5’11” tall. He currently holds a professional MMA record of 7 wins and 2 losses.

Folayang is 5’8″ tall. He has 22 wins and 8 losses.

On November 11, 2016, Folayang became the ONE Lightweight World Champion. He lost the title to Martin Nguyen on November 10, 2017

On November 23, 2018, Folayang reclaimed the title. On March 31, 2019, he lost it to Shinya Aoki.
