Hayder “Hulk” Hassan, 37, of the United States and Iraq and Carl “The Bomber” Booth, 29, of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England have confirmed their upcoming bout at “BRAVE CF 32.” They made weight and are ready to face each other in the main event of BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut in Kyrgyzstan.
In partnership with WEF Global, BRAVE CF will hold “BRAVE CF 32” at the Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on December 14, 2019. Hassan and Booth will battle it out in the welterweight division in the main event.
During the weigh-ins in Bishkek, Hassan and Booth stepped in the scales under the limit at 77.1kg and 77.4kg, respectively. They were the pick of the bunch for staredowns as they had an intense meeting before the fight night and were separated eventually by BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid.
Set to compete in the co-main event, João Paulo Rodrigues, 38, of Brazil and Abdysalam “Omok” Kubanychiev, 25, of Kyrgyzstan were a little more cheerful during the weigh-ins. They are both making their BRAVE CF debuts at “BRAVE CF 32.”
Rodrigues wore a smile throughout the ceremony. Wearing a yellow shirt in homage to his country, the Brazilian mixed martial artist tried to get Kubanychiev to smile with him but to no avail.
“BRAVE CF 32” will be BRAVE CF’s first event held together in partnership with WEF Global. Both organizations look to take the local MMA scene to the next level by giving local athletes the international platform they deserve and bringing top international stars to Bishkek for a night of action the fans will not forget.
