Directed by Brillante Mendoza, “Mindanao” features Judy Ann Santos as a Muslim mother taking care of her cancer-stricken daughter (Yuna Tangog) while her combat medic husband (Allen Dizon) is in an offensive operation in Maguindanao. Directed by Brillante Mendoza, the film was written by Honee Alipio with Armando “Bing” Lao as the creative consultant.
“Mindanao” is one of the eight official entries to the 45th edition of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. It will run from December 25, 2019 to January 7, 2020.
