Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex: India’s Puja Tomar will give me good fight at ‘ONE: A New Tomorrow’

Stamp Fairtex, 22, of Thailand will put her undefeated professional mixed martial arts record on the line at “ONE: A New Tomorrow.” The reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion will face Puja “The Cyclone” Tomar, 26, of India.

Featuring six MMA matches, five Muay Thai contests and one kickboxing bout, the “ONE: A New Tomorrow” fight night will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on January 10, 2020. In the 11th bout of the evening, Stamp and Tomar will battle it out in an MMA match in the women’s atomweight division.

On January 6, 2020, ONE Championship held the official kick-off “ONE: A New Tomorrow” press conference at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok. During the event, Stamp said, “It is always an amazing experience to be competing at home and I am happy that I get to kick off what I believe will be the biggest year in my career in my home country of Thailand.”

“I am excited to continue this path to a mixed martial arts world championship,” Stamp continued. “I get to prove my worth against another tough challenge in Puja Tomar.”

“Puja is a veteran and I know she will give me a good fight as I know that I can overcome any challenges that she may pose,” the reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion added. “I promise that I will soon bring the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Championship home to Thailand, as well.”


ONE Championship Thailand president “Plai” Jitinat Asdamongkol, Minister of Tourism and Sports secretary Khemmapol Auitayakul and Professional Sports Development and Boxing Department director Tanukiat Janchum attended the “ONE: A New Tomorrow” press conference. Actors Sanya Kunakorn (สัญญา คุณากร), 56, “Big” Thongpoom Siripipat (“บิ๊ก” ทองภูมิ สิริพิพัฒน์), 31, and “Bank” Thiti Mahayotaruk (“แบงค์” ติ มหาโยธารักษ์), 23, singers Kratae R. Siam (กระแต อาร์สยาม), 32, and “Typhoon” Kanokchat Manyaton (กนกฉัตร มรรยาทอ่อน), 28, and hip-hop group Buddha Bless (บุดด้า เบลส) member Suranun “Tong” Chumtaratorn (สุรนันต์ ชุ่มธาราธร), 43, graced the event as special guests.
