Guram “The Georgian Viking” Kutateladze, 28, of Georgia is weeks away from the fight of his life. At “BRAVE CF 35,” he will have the chance to dethrone reigning BRAVE Combat Federation Lightweight World Champion Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, of Brazil.

BRAVE CF will hold “BRAVE CF 35” in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil on March 28, 2020. The title bout between Silva and Kutateladze is the main event of evening, marking the first title defense of the defending champion.

Kutateladze is eager to make an impression and get out of Brazil with his winning streak intact and a shiny new world title belt of his own. He has pledged all respect for Silva’s home country but claimed he was the hungriest fighter and deserved to walk away with the belt.

“(I am) always going to be an underdog, the hungriest animal, the hungriest lion, the hungriest wolf, the hungriest warrior, call it whatever you want,” Kutateladze stated. “I love this challenge, fighting a Brazilian on his own soil in Brazil. With all the respect to Brazilian people, but I’m coming for that belt.

“I deserve it more than anyone,” the Georgian challenger said of the BRAVE CF Lightweight World Championship belt. “I worked for it more than anyone. I sacrifice more than anyone. I got a stronger purpose and I got bigger why.”

Beating two of Brazil’s biggest fighters in the BRAVE CF roster, Kutateladze became a top contender. He defeated Erick “Indio Brabo” da Silva, 31, of Balneário Camboriú via unanimous decision at “BRAVE CF 16” at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on September 21, 2018 and knocked out Felipe Silva, 35, of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil at “BRAVE CF 29” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain.

“BRAVE CF 35” is the fifth BRAVE CF event to take place in Brazil. This makes the country one of the two countries with most BRAVE CF shows along with Bahrain since the organization’s inception in late 2016.
