Brazilian digital influencer Gabi Brandt, 24, wife of Brazilian singer and composer Saulo Poncio, 24, is pregnant. She took to Instagram to make the announcement on June 7, 2020.
“Nós estamos muito, muito felizes (We are very, very happy)!” Brandt told Quem. “Descobri há quatro dias e dessa vez escolhi não esperar para contar para todo mundo. Minha familia é tudo para mim e eu morro de felicidade em saber que ela está crescendo (I found out four days ago and this time I chose not to wait to tell everyone. My family is everything to me and I die of happiness in knowing that it is growing).”
According to Brandt, when she started to experience some pregnancy symptoms, her chest was sensitive and she got sick and dizzy. She decided to take a test and was surprised by the result.
“Não esperava (I didn’t expect it),” Brandt shared. “Não foi planejado mas fiquei extremamente feliz quando eu descobri. Eu contei para o Saulo hoje e ele ficou muito feliz também. (It wasn’t planned but I was extremely happy when I found out. I told Saulo today and he was very happy too.)”
“Chorou horrores! (He cried horribly!)” Brandt said of her husband. “Toda a família está muito feliz. Graças a Deus. (The family is very happy. Thank God.)”
Poncio and Brandt started dating in May 2018 and got engaged in June 2018. They got married on January 18, 2019 at the Belmond Copacabana Palace in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in a luxurious ceremony attended by 250 guests.
On July 5, 2019, Brandt gave birth to their first child Davi Márcio. In February 2020, she and Poncio took a break from their relationship but in April 2020, he announced that they had reconciled.
