Oliver “The Future” Enkamp, 29, of Stockholm, Sweden was one of the winners at “Bellator 248.” It was the Swedish mixed martial artist’s third victory in Bellator MMA.
Featuring 10 MMA matches, “Bellator MMA” took place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France on October 10, 2020 right before “Bellator Europe 10,” also called “Bellator Paris.” In the third bout of the evening, Enkamp fought Emmanuel “Papou Lele” Dawa, 35, of France in the welterweight division.
Dan Miragliotta served as the referee. He put a stop to the welterweight contest after 4 minutes and 10 seconds in the first round.
Enkamp submitted Dawa via Japanese necktie. It was the sixth time the Swedish MMA fighter submitted an opponent in a professional MMA bout.
Ten countries were represented at “Bellator 248” and “Bellator Paris” namely Austria, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iraq, Ireland, Scotland, Sweden and the United States. Enkamp solely represented Sweden while Dawa was one of the seven fighters who represented the host country.
Born on August 10, 1991, Enkamp has been competed professionally since 2013. Before joining Bellator MMA, he competed in International Ring Fight Arena, Trophy MMA, Superior Challenge and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
“Bellator 248” marked Enkamp’s third outing in Bellator MMA. The Stockholm native submitted Walter “The Sniper” Gahadza, 32, of London, England at “Bellator 223” on June 22, 2019 and knocked out Lewis “The Foot” Long, 31, of Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales at “Bellator 240” on February 22, 2020.
