Bryce Andrew Mitchell is a professional mixed martial artist nicknamed Thug Nasty. He is a native of Cabot, Arkansas, United States.

Mitchell stands 5’10” and competes in the featherweight division. As an MMA fighter, he has been competing professionally since 2015.

  1. He was born in Cabot on October 4, 1994.
  2. In 2010, he started training at home in the garage.
  3. He attended Cabot High School where he was a varsity basketball player. He graduated in 2013.
  4. On November 23, 2013, he was submitted by Brian Tidwellin an amateur fight at a V3 Fights event in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
  5. As an amateur MMA fighter, he submitted Tony Williams at a V3 Fights event in Memphis on August 9, 2014 and Zachary Ort at “Legacy FC 34” in Tunica, Mississippi, USA on August 29, 2014.
  6. He submitted his first eight professional MMA opponents namely Sheldon Smith, Jesse Sanderson, Tony Williams, Chris Culley, Jorge Medina, Bobby Taylor, Brandon Phillips and Issac Ware.
  7. On June 17, 2017, he defeated Jose Mariscal via unanimous decision at “V3 Fights 60.” It was the first time he won a professional MMA fight via unanimous decision.
  8. In February 2018, he won one of his two exhibition bouts in “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 27. After defeating Jay Cucciniello via unanimous decision, he was submitted via rear-naked choke by Brad Katona. When he made his UFC debut at “The Ultimate Fighter” 27 finale on July 6, 2018, he defeated Tyler Diamond via majority decision. In August 2018, he severed his scrotum and testicles after accidentally putting an electric drill in his front pocket while doing some chores at home. Speaking about the accident, he told B&T Magazine, “I deserve to be made fun of. I really am that stupid. I didn’t have a tool belt. I put a drill in my pants but I was in a rush.”
  9. On March 23, 2019, he defeated Bobby Moffett via unanimous decision at “UFC Fight Night 148.”
  10. On December 7, 2019, he submitted Matt Sayles via twister at “UFC on ESPN 7.”
  11. He attended Harding University in Searcy. He studied economics. In April 2019, he told KARK, “I choose economies because of my disdain for government, yeah, just how much I truly hate our government. If it was up to me, the government would be run way different than it is, that people would actually have rights, we wouldn’t be taxed on everything. I definitely take all my anger for the government out in the cage.”
  12. He appeared in a commercial for DriveTime Motors in Arkansas, in which he says, “I ripped by testicles open with a drill.” On October 10, 2020, UFC president Dana White took to Twitter to congratulate him and called it “the greatest commercial ever made.”
  13.  On October 31, 2020, he defeated Andre Fili via unanimous decision at “UFC Vegas 12.” He wore a pair of Reebok camouflage shorts in the fight, which was his own trademark brand of shorts that he had been lobbying for.
