Leandro Mendoza represented the Dominican Republic in the third edition of Caballero Universal and the 24th edition of Manhunt International Male Supermodel. He is the first Dominican winner of the former.

Mendoza is a Dominican presenter, model and beauty king. He is an alumnus of Centro Politecnico Militar San Miguel Arcangel in Santo Domingo Norte, Santo Domingo, the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in Santo Domingo and Escuela Nacional de Locución Profesor Otto Rivera in Ciudad Colonial, Santo Domingo.
