In the second bout of the evening, Saputra and Gonzales competed in the flyweight division. Mohamad Sulaiman served as the referee.

Almost immediately after the bout began, Saputra shot in for a double-leg, using his chain wrestling to bring matters to the canvas. He proved unstoppable on the ground, advancing his position until he took Gonzales’s back and sunk in the choke.

Gonzales had no choice but to tap. Sulaiman put a stop to the flyweight contest after 4 minutes and 7 seconds in the first round.
