  1. You failed to mention that her husband is also her first cousin and they have children together. It’s no secret. Another interesting fact is she has been accused of serious conflicts of interest several times since she entered politics, with Govt contracts being awarded to her Husband/Cousin and other family members while she was a Minister for those Depts. She is now continuing the work begun by her parents in a bid to claim ownership of the Waikato River for her family and tribe and has managed to convince the Govt to back her ‘3 Waters scheme’ which essentially gives the govt control of all NZ water…and as Mahuta is heavily involved in the treaty negation between her tribe and the Govt ( conflict of interest ? ) it is likely the river will ultimately be gifted to her tribe as part of a settlement..which will get her what she wants..the fulfillment of her parents wishes. Clever girl…and slippery as a snake.
