The respective 2020 editions of Miss World and Miss Supranational were both cancelled due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Both international beauty pageants will resume in 2021.

Miss Supranational crowned its first queen in 2009. If Mosehle wins the 2021 edition, she will be the international beauty pageant’s first titleholder from South Africa and the first candidate from the country to place in the competition.
