Thobour Sing, 39, Theo Ksor, 33, and Rem Rcom, 27, of Charlotte, North Carolina, United States have been arrested. They were charged with criminal conspiracy, malicious injury to property and damaging or tampering with a vehicle.
Sing, Ksor and Rcom alleged tried to steal a catalytic converter from a Honda at a residence in Columbia, South Carolina, USA on February 19, 2021, WIS TV reported. Officers from the Columbia Police Department stopped them while they were in their getaway car and took them into custody without incident.
The three suspects, who are Asian-Americans, were booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Columbia. They all have criminal records in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
On April 8, 2013, Sing was indicted by a grand jury for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. Among the other crimes he previously committed were carrying a concealed gun, speeding, injury to a personal property, resisting public officer and simple assault.
On April 5, 2015, Rcom was charged with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance and assault inflicting serious bodily injury in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. On February 10, 2017, he was charged with four counts of probation violation.
On September 11, 2020, Ksor was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order. Aside from these, he committed numerous crimes in the county including communicating threats, discharge of firearms within the city limits, injury to personal property, possession of a firearm by a felon, drug paraphernalia possession and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute methamphetamine.
