Seo Hee “Hamderlei Silva” Ham (함서희), 33, of Busan, South Korea is one of the eight mixed martial artists who will compete in the inaugural world grand prix of ONE Championship‘s women’s atomweight MMA division. She currently holds a professional MMA record of 23 wins and 8 losses.
Undefeated since 2017, Ham will make her ONE Championship debut in the tournament. She previously held several titles including Rizin Fighting Federation Super Atomweight Championship, Road FC Women’s Atomweight Championship and Deep Jewels Atomweight Championship.
Born in Gangwon, South Korea, Ham made her professional MMA debut in 2007. She competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from 2015 to 2016, Road FC from 2017 to 2018 and Rizin FF in 2019 then she went on hiatus in 2020.
The last time Ham lost was in 2016. She had two consecutive losses in the UFC that year.
The first quarterfinal bout of the 2021 ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix is scheduled for May 28, 2021. The champion of the tournament will challenge reigning ONE Atomweight World Champion Angela “Unstoppable” Lee, 24, of Singapore in November 2021.
Including South Korea, eight countries will be represented in the tournament. The others are China, India, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine and the United States.
