West Palm Beach’s Chloe Hernandez, Joanna Ceidi, Brianna Toombs attack Popeye’s employees in Lantana, Florida

Chloe Arieigha Hernandez, 21, Joanna Ceidi, 19, and Brianna Toombs, 19, who are all from West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, United States have been arrested by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies. The three women were charged with robbery with a weapon and burglary with assault or battery.

At around 1 p.m. on March 16, 2021, Hernandez, Ceidi, Toombs and one more female suspect were inside a silver Nissan Sentra, which pulled into the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen‘s drive-thru in the 7000 block of Seacrest Boulevard in Lantana, Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. One of them allegedly argued with the cashier and even spat at and assaulted the employee.

According to authorities, the three other women got out of the car and attacked two employees inside the restaurant. Before the four suspects hopped back into their car and fled, one of them allegedly reached into the drive-thru window and stole money out of the cash register.

Eyewitness Demarco Quant, 33, of Coral Springs, Broward County, Florida was able to record the incident on his cellphone while he was in the car behind the car of the four suspects that day. The video clearly shows the plate number of the suspects’ car.

According to Quant, one of the suspects sprayed some unknown aerosol through the drive-thru window. He told South Florida Sun-Sentinel, “I couldn’t walk into the restaurant because everyone was running out coughing.”

Hernandez, Ceidi and Toombs were arrested on the afternoon of March 19, 2021. They were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail in West Palm Beach.

The fourth suspect is still at large and her name has yet to be released. The authorities are asking those who have information about her to call Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 1-800-458-TIPS.
