Yet another international beauty pageant amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic! This disaster cannot stop us from bringing the most beautiful women in the world together.
It was Rashia Suheyn Cipriani Noriega of Peru who won Miss Eco International 2019 but she was dethroned. Her runner-up Maureen Montagne of the Philippines was offered the title but she declined as she is currently a candidate of Binibining Pilipinas 2021, which will crown the Philippines’ representatives to the 2021 editions of Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Globe.
In the end, Amy Nurtinie of Malaysia was appointed Miss Eco International 2019. She was originally fourth runner-up.
Nurtinie did not crown her successor in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, her successor will be crowned at Baron Resort Sharm el-Sheikh in Ras Nasrany, Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai, South Sinai Governorate, Egypt on April 4, 2021.
