  2. He is a bodybuilder. He used to sell protein powder through Bangarang Elite Supplements, a business that has been dissolved. (a)
  3. He is the self-described sergeant of arms of the Proud Boys chapter in Seattle, Washington. (b)
  4. In 2017, he started showing up at rallies in Seattle and Portland staged by the Patriot Prayer, a far-right group. (a)
  5. In June 2018, he punched and knocked out an activist who swung a baton at him at a Proud Boys rally in Portland, Oregon. He was named Proud Boy of the Week” and landed a guest spot on “InfoWars” by rightist conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. (a)

That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
