Haley Rose Pontius of Conway, Arkansas, United States was 23 years old when she won Miss Arkansas USA 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas on November 18, 2019. She is a model with the Agency, Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas an an alumna of the University of Central Arkansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics.
On November 9, 2020, Pontius represented Arkansas at Miss USA 2020 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Exhibition Center and the Soundstage of Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. She was unplaced.
On May 23, 2021, Pontius went back to Fort Smith and crowned Stephanie Barber of Fayetteville, Arkansas as the next Miss Arkansas USA. The latter will represent the state at Miss USA 2021.
