Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano, 37, professionally known as Toni Gonzaga, and Catherine Cruz Gonzaga-Morada, 33, professionally known as Alex Gonzaga, have been selected as the official icons of Nature’s Spring Water. Hailing from Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, the two social media influencers, who are also singers, actresses and television hosts, are the daughters of Carlito “Bonoy” Gonzaga, 61, and Crisanta “Pinty” Cruz Gonzaga, 65.

Both Toni and Alex are certified water buffs. The former is meticulous about the water she drinks so she makes sure it is always bottled water she is taking because it is safe and sealed so it can be trusted.

“When you drink water, you’re moisturizing your body and your inner beauty,” Toni said. “Your cells are given more life and this helps you glow. When you’re clean from within, you glow.”

Contrary to common impressions, drinking more water will reduce bloat and flush out toxins, minimizing the harmful results of salty foods and snacks. Drinking a glass of water before a meal can help decrease appetite, help with portion control, aid in food digestion and boost metabolism.

If water is consumed instead of high-calorie drinks, it reduces calorie intake, as well. While experts recommend drinking eight glasses or two liters per day, water requirements may differ based on age, environment and activity levels.

Alex takes two liters of water per day. She revealed that she used to not believe in hydration.

“I know how water flushes out all the toxins in your body that you get from whatever you eat or drink,” Alex said. “I always feel good after drinking water and I also drink water to lose weight. It helps me to stay regular and I noticed that my puson (belly) is trimmer when I take water instead of juices and sugary drinks.”
