Tyler was booked into the the Putnam County Jail in Cookeville, Putnam County. He will be extradited back to New Jersey where is expected to be charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping.
“This is probably the hardest few days of our lives,” Uyar’s mother Karen Uyar told NBC New York. Unaware of Yasemin’s death, Sebastian is happy, according to his grandmother.
“He’s playing right now,” Karen said of Sebastian. “He’s obviously confused, asking for mommy.”
