Wearing a grey hooded Green Gay Packers sweatshirt, a black coat, a camouflage balaclava and jeans, he went to the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., USA on January 6, 2021 with Thomas, Dawn, Kristi, Kayli and a minor. That day, Trump’s supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

In a Facebook conversation with Kelsi Munn on January 7, 2021, he wrote, “So ya they don’t know shit and the cop look calm and happy outside of the capital but the one on the inside were trying to get us mad they would try using teargas shoot a couple of people with rubber bullets we weren’t over by that though.”
  10. Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent David L. Bolyard filed a criminal complaint against him, which was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia M. Faruqui on July 12, 2021.
  11. On July 13, 2021, FBI agents arrested him in Melrose while Thomas, Dawn, Kristin and Kayli were arrested day in Borger. When he appeared in federal court in Madison, Wisconsin that day, he waived his rights to a preliminary or detention hearing. He was released on standard conditions not to commit any crimes, influence witnesses or obstruct investigators.
  12. On July 19, 2021, he pleaded not guilty to knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a U.S. Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a U.S. Capitol building. On April 24, 2022, he pleaded guilty to the same counts.
  13. He was 24 years old when he was sentenced on October 12, 2022 to 36 months of probation, 60 hours community service and $500 restitution.
