MTK MMA Global’s Arbi Mezhidov to fight Aleksandr Vertko at ‘NFC 4’ in Bonn, Germany

Arbi “Alpha Wolf” Mezhidov, 29, of Vienna, Austria is set to make his National Fighting Championship debut. The MTK MMA Global talent will fight Aleksandr Vertko, 25, of Kaliningrad, Russia at “NFC 4” in the lightweight division.

“NFC 4” will take place at the Maritim Hotel Bonn in Bonn, Germany on July 25, 2021. Mezhdov and Vertko’s match is a title eliminator.

This will be Vertko’s second NFC fight. On September 19, 2020, he defeated Mikail Bayram of France at “NFC 2” in Krefeld, Germany.

Currently, Vertko holds a professional MMA record of 10 wins and 1 loss. Mezhidov has 13 wins and 4 losses.


Mezhidov made his professional MMA debut on September 25, 2011. He fought in World Free Fight Challenge from 2011 to 2012 and in Iron Fist in 2013.

From 2014 to 2015, Mezhidov went on hiatus. He made his MMA comeback in 2016 and defeated four opponents in one year in three promotions namely We Love MMA, Final Fight Championship and Austrian Fight Challenge.

The Austrian MMA fighter competed in Absolute Championship Akhmat from 2017 to 2018 and in X Fight Nights from 2018 to 2019. He had one Bellator MMA fight in 2020.
