DaCosta wrote the screenplay of the film with Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld based on Clive Barker‘s short story “The Forbidden”. It is a direct sequel to Bernard Rose‘s 1992 film of the same name.
In the sequel, Yahya Abdul-Mateeen II plays a visual artist named Anthony McCoy and Teyonah Parris plays an art gallery director named Brianna “Bri” Cartwright. Also in the cast are Colman Domingo, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Kyle Kaminsky, Vanessa Williams, Rebecca Spence and Carl Clemons-Hopkins.

Born in Egham, Surrey, England, Stephen Alan Lillywhite turned 66 on March 15, 2021. He produced the title track for Ben&Ben’s debut studio album “Limasawa Street”, which was released by Sony Music Philippines on May 12, 2019.
Ben&Ben is an indie folk-pop band from Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines. It has nine members namely Paolo Benjamin Guico, Miguel Benjamin Guico, Poch Barretto, Jam Villanueva, Agnes Reoma, Pat Lasaten, Toni Muñoz, Andrew De Pano and Keifer Cabugao.
There are 12 tracks in Ben&Ben’s second studio album. The band produced the album with Jean-Paul Verona and Sam Marquez.
