Miss World Singapore 2019 Sheen Cher, 25, will crown her successor at the end of a virtual coronation ceremony on October 9, 2021. It will be the 48th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Singapore’s Miss World candidate.
Cher was not able to crown her successor in 2020 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Her successor will represent Singapore at Miss World 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 16, 2021.
Currently, Singapore has two Miss World placements. Representing the Asian country, Pauline Poh Neo Cheong finished in the Top 15 in 1976 while Vanessa Peh Ting Ting finished in the Top 30 in 2018.
