Emirati model Minwa Al Hamed, 28, and Miss Universe Canada 2020 finalist Kelsey Johnson, 29, are among the 300 Miss Universe United Arab Emirates 2021 applicants invited to the casting call on October 15, 2021. Only 30 of them will be selected as the official candidates of the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the UAE.

The list of the 30 official Miss Universe UAE 2021 candidates will be revealed on October 20, 2021. The candidates will participate in a Smile Train charity visit on October 24, 2021.

On November 7, 2021, only one will be crowned as the inaugural queen at La Perle in Al Habtoor City, Dubai, UAE. She will represent the UAE at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel on December 12, 2021.

Applicants for Miss Universe UAE 2021 must be 18 to 28 years old, must have valid UAE identification cards. They may be either a UAE citizen or a resident of the country for at least three years.

There is no height requirement and there is no swimsuit competition during the competition. Meanwhile, here are some of the 300 women who are in the running towards becoming Miss Universe UAE 2021:
