Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida, 25, of Limpopo, South Africa will crown her successor at the Grand West Arena, Cape Town, South Africa on October 16, 2021. It will be the 63rd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects South Africa’s Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational candidates.
Musida was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 in Cape Town on October 24, 2020. Thato Mosehle and Natasha Joubert were the respective first and second runners-up.
Joubert was unplaced at Miss Universe 2020 in the United States on May 16, 2021 while Mosehle became Miss Supranational 2021 second runner-up in Poland on August 21, 2021. Musida will represent South Africa at Miss World 2021 in Puerto Rico on December 16, 2021.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will host the coronation night with Anele Mdoda and Nico Panagio. Actress Shannon Esra, television and radio personality Dineo Ranaka and University of Cape Town vice chancellor Mamokgethi Phakeng will serve as judges along with Miss South Africa 1994 Basetsana Kumalo, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss South Africa 2018 Tamaryn Green, Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh and Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza.
From 30 semifinalists, 10 finalists were selected to battle it out during the Miss South Africa 2021 coronation night. After checking their photos, videos and profiles, I believe these are the three candidates who will make it to the top:
