Laura Victoria Olascuaga Pinto represented Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia at Señorita Colombia 2018 and competed against 25 other candidates at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center in Cartagena, Colombia on November 12, 2018. She was runner-up to Gabriela Tafur of Valle del Cauca.
On November 16, 2020, Olascuaga represented Bolivar at Miss Universe Colombia 2020 and competed against 29 other candidates at the Pabellón de Cristal in Barranquilla, Colombia. She won the title.
Runner-up to Olascuaga was Jenifer Pulgarín Candelo of Norte de Santander. The second runner-up was Laura Juliana Lamus Vargas of Santander.
Miss Universe Colombia 2021 contestants
On October 18, 2021, Olascuaga will crown her successor at the Chamorro City Hall in Bogota, Colombia. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Colombia’s Miss Universe candidate.
From 1958 to 2019, Miss Universe was represented in Miss Universe by one of the winners of Señorita Colombia. In 2020, Miss Universe Colombia started with Natalie Ackermann as the national director.
