Born in Waterloo, Iowa, USA, Kimberly Ann Guadagno served as the first lieutenant governor of New Jersey from January 19, 2010 to January 16, 2018. She was succeeded by Oliver on January 16, 2018.

Sheila Oliver

Oliver is the second and incumbent lieutenant governor of New Jersey. She assumed office on January 16, 2018.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Oliver graduated cum laude from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, USA with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 1974. She earned her master’s degree in planning and administration from Columbia University in New York City, New York, USA in 1976 and her doctor of humane letters from Lincoln University on May 6, 2018.

Oliver was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from the 34th district from January 13, 2004 to January 9, 2018. She was the speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly from January 12, 2010 to January 14, 2014.

Diane Allen

Allen was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Moorestown, New Jersey. In 1966, she graduated as the valedictorian at Moorestown High School in Moorestown.

In 1969, Allen was crowned Miss Burlington County. She earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

In 1970, Allen started her broadcast news career with WJJZ in Mount Holly, New Jersey. In 1973, she won a national hang gliding competition.

From January 9, 1996 to January 13, 1998, Allen was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from the seventh district. From January 13, 1998 to January 9, 2018, she was a member of the New Jersey Senate from the seventh district.
